FAQ

Your questions

Key information to help you prepare your request and understand how we work. Can't find your question? Our project managers will answer it.

Quotes and turnaround times

How do I request a quote?

Use our contact form, or write to us by e-mail or on WhatsApp, stating the service you need, the languages involved, the intended use and your deadline. Attach the document if possible: your project manager will reply within 24 business hours with a detailed quote.

What are the turnaround times?

The timeframe depends on the volume, the nature of the content and the level of revision required. It is stated in the quote and confirmed before work begins. Urgent handling is possible; a surcharge may apply when the volume requires working outside normal hours.

How does payment work?

Payment terms and conditions are set out in the quote. Work begins once the quote has been approved.

Do you offer terms for businesses?

Yes. For recurring volumes or multilingual projects, we provide a dedicated project manager, centralised terminology management and tailored terms. Find out more about our project management service.

Sworn translation

What is a sworn translation?

It is an official translation produced by a sworn translator-interpreter appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. It bears their signature, seal and a certification that give it legal validity before public and private bodies. The official register can be consulted on the Ministry's website (opens in a new tab).

Is an electronically signed sworn translation valid?

Yes. A sworn translation signed electronically has the same legal validity as a paper version: it uses an electronic certificate issued by the FNMT-RCM, in accordance with Order AUC/213/2025 of 26 February (opens in a new tab).

How can I verify the electronic signature?

The signature can be verified on the official VALIDe (opens in a new tab) platform. Click “Validar firma”, then “Subir documento” to select the PDF of the translation. The system confirms that the signature is valid, that the document has not been altered and that it was issued by the sworn translator-interpreter.

Does my document need an apostille?

If the receiving authority requires the Hague Apostille, it must be obtained before the sworn translation. The translation will then cover both the document and the apostille.

Documents, delivery and confidentiality

Which documents should I send?

A complete, legible copy of the document, preferably as a PDF, together with any instructions useful for the assessment. Please avoid sending information that is not needed for your request.

In what format will I receive the work?

Delivery is digital, by e-mail. Where necessary, a paper copy can be sent by post; the format is agreed in the quote.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. We support clients in France, in Spain and remotely. On-site interpreting assignments are arranged according to location and availability.

How do you guarantee the confidentiality of documents?

Your documents are only accessible to the professionals assigned to your project and are used exclusively for the agreed service. Details of how data is processed are set out in our privacy policy.
